Hey gang!! So, while running through some musty, needing to be condemed castle, I realized that I have a few macros that I can truly call my favorite.  Many time’s it’s just because it’s helped me from causing a wipe by misdirecting on the healer or just keeping my pet happy by feeding it.

Now these aren’t the complex do 14 things with a single button kinda macros, but just some simple things that make life a little easier. But please remember anything in “italics” needs to be replaced with the actual item.(eg. “food” with Clefthoof Ribs)

Set Focus to Current Target - (I know you can just hot key this, but I haven’t mastered the whole key-mapping yet.  When I do, you’ll be the first to know!!)

/focus target
What does this do?  Glad you ask, just think of it as keeping in the back of your mind the one person you need to be concerned about helping.

Misdirect to Focus
/cast [target=focus,exists] Misdirection
/y Misdirecting on %f

This one will let you target a mob, yet allow you to cast your misdirect on your focus (great pratical joke btw!!).

Assist Focus
/assist [target=focus, exists]
/stopcasting

Ever tried the to assist your tank and at the end of the battle they’ve started targeting the next mob, but you’ve hit assist and WHAM!! off goes a shot?? Well this one helps eliminate that.

Feed Pet
#show “food item”
/cast Feed Pet
/Use “food item”

Now this one feeds your pet. I’ve seen people use bag spots, so they don’t have to keep this updated, but I’m not that organized.

Eat and Drink at Same Time
/use “food item”
/use “drink”
