What is Zeisha’s UI?

Over on the forums Zeisha was asked what was his UI like. (see original post here).

Always one to make sure we answer our fans.  Below is the complete list of add-ons, and libraries.  Now we haven’t listed them with their links (we’ll update the add-on page for that), but I’m sure you can find them at either Curse or WoW Interface.

FYI - My current Add-ons (warning: long list)

AG Unitframes :: The unitframes under HUD, personal and pet.
Antagonist :: I love this add-on - if you don’t know, it shows you cooldowns on opponent/npc casts.
Atlasloot :: Duh.
Bagnon :: One of many good one-bag type options.
Bartender3 :: All my bars, etc. Yes, I use a lot, because I’m a button !*%*.
BigWigs & oRa :: I prefer BW over DBM, but both are very good. ORA gives me the tank bars under Grid.
Buffalo2 :: For editing/moving buff bars
Cartographer :: Another No-Brainer there.
Clearfont2 :: Lets you choose fonts for most on-screen text.
CooldownCount :: Better cooldown timers on the buttons
CooldownTimers2 :: The cooldown bars for your spells, etc.
Cowtip :: This is like a gift from God… once you figure out dogtags. :P
Craftlist2 :: If you’re a crafter, this is great.
eePanels2 :: For making background panels and such… also, this can get REALLY creative.
EquipCompare :: Yet another no-brainer.
Fisherman’s Friend :: Cause fold-clicking is FTW.
FluidFrames :: Once you have it, you’ll never want to live without it.. just like pizza and sex.
Fubar :: Along with a ton of adds - Charms (targeting icons), Omen (I love this separate display), all the basics, and petfu (I really like the info breakdown on this)
GFW’s Linkerator :: If you’ve used lootlink, this is basically a much less memory intensive version.
Grid & Grid Mana Bars :: That’s the nice raid display in the top right.
ItemRack :: Simply a necessity once you’ve got any kind of gear… ugh… WTB - Bag Space.
LittleWigs :: Yeah, I still like a good heroic. :P
MetaHud :: Best HUD there is, IMO.
MobHealth :: Awesome
Omen :: If you keep this updated, it really IS working well.
Passloot :: Get this configured and it’ll save you a lot of BS. I HIGHLY recommend this for all RL’s.
PhanxChat :: Terrific chat window add-on, simplifies and customizes pretty much everything.
SimpleMD :: There’s a few of these out there, I prefer this one.
SimpleMiniMap :: Again, IMO the best of these types of add-ons.

Libs (ones I keep updated separately because multiple add-ons use them, and because often they get buggy if you don’t have the full Lib separate from the add-ons):
Ace2
CandyBar
DewDropLib
LibAvion
LibGratuity
LibSharedMedia
TabletLib
Waterfall
Windowlib

  1. I’m not very good with messing around with my computer’s files, I just load the game and play :P.

    What do you mean by this comment below?

    “Libs (ones I keep updated separately because multiple add-ons use them, and because often they get buggy if you don’t have the full Lib separate from the add-ons):”

    Also, can u post a URL(s) where I can download these because I looked at WoW Interface and Curse, and I don’t want to download something that will cause my UI to spazz out that I can’t fix because of my newbness…

    Thanks a bunch!

  2. Libs (Libraries) are the foundation that are used to develop many of the add-ons. In football terms, maybe think of them as “playbook”. If your missing plays out of the playbook, then your offense isn’t as effective and can break down. (Maybe bad analogy but hope it helps.)

    Also, as for the URL’s we’re getting them added over onto the Add-on section in the Toolkit area.

    I do want to add some words of caution, as with anything interface related, always make a back-up copy of any files your going to delete or replace. And if your ever unsure about how or what to do with any files on your computer, ask your resident expert for assistance.

  3. Ok, I finally got curse to get my profile fixed so my project works again (long story). Anyway….

    http://downloads.curse.com/details/7630/

    There’s the link for where you can get my UI, includes the full WTF folder and Interface folder, but you’ll need to rename some folders (directions are in the read me).

    Whee….
