Cheeky and Lactose Say Farewell to Hunter DPS Spreadsheet
Well folks, as most everything, it seems that this ride has come to a close.
After 18months Cheeky released his final version of the Hunter DPS spreadsheet.
In Cheeky’s final post he says “Final Version.
I am no longer going to be supporting the DPS Spreadsheet. It’s been a fun 18 months, and I hope someone else feels the drive to continue this project.
There are no functional changes.
Change Log:
- Unlocked spreadsheet. This will be the final version supported by Cheeky.”
With the spreadsheet unlocked hopefully someone will step up and continue the legacy that Cheeky started. Many of us have planned our gear, justified and proved our playstyle and spec choices all based on this tool. Cheeky, you will be missed.
Then what happens?? A couple of posts later Lactose comes on and says he to is retiring from maintaining the Hunter Spreadsheet thread stating “I will no longer be maintaining this thread.
Please do not send me any more PMs regarding bugs or feature requests regarding the spreadsheet.”
Lactose you to will be missed.
I salute you both and and grateful for all of the hardwork both of you have put into this tool for us.
I’m not sure how long Elitist Jerks will host the now closed project, but rest assured, we’ll try and keep you all updated on any new developments. In the mean time links to the final version can be found here.
