EXTRA! EXTRA!! The Hunting Lodge Banner Logo Contest
So here’s the deal. The Hunting Lodge needs a new banner logo. I’d like to be able to use it on the Forums and Blog.
The Winner will receive:
A Hunting Lodge T-Shirt with the Logo printed on it.
A Game Card
and official proclamation as the Official Logo Designer for The Hunting Lodge!!

Winners will be announced 9/30/08.
Judging:
I’ll take my top 3 logo choices and post them up for final judging to be done by The Hunting Lodge Forum members from 9/16-9/27/08. With the winners being announced on 9/30/08.
Graphic Requirements:
The submission should be in a standard web format (GIF, JPG, PNG preferred) but able to be converted to GIF or JPG w/o loss of quality.
NOTE!! No Flash submissions will be accepted.
Graphic size. This is pretty well open to the artist’s interpretation. The Current logo is 337×179. But since I’m replacing this with the winner’s I’m open to see what you can do. Banners will be good, solid logos awesome.. let your imagination go free!!

While I might not even have time to submit anything to you there are two questions that might help others who want to enter!
Questions:
What are the size requirements? Multiple size options?
What format should they be submitted in? (jpg, png, psd)

Honestly, I’m game for almost anything that will fit in a banner space. Right now the banner is: 337×179. so I guess ?x180 is okay? I can adjust the site to help accomodate a decent logo as well work with the artist in scaling the logo.
As for the format.. submissions should be a standard web format (GIF, JPG, or PNG). I’ll accept others, but understand that almost everything will get converted to .gif or .jpg.
OH!! no flash will be accepted also.

I’m working on a logo at the moment and was wondering what font you used in the current logo, because i would like to use it in my design.

The font in question is Morpheus. I believe it’s the same font used by Blizz for WoW.
