Macro #4 – Automatic Broken Weapon Swapper
Please note that this macro requires you to have a back-up weapon in your bags.
Purpose:
This macro has been designed to simply quickly replace a broken weapon during a boss encounter, saving you countless seconds of having to search through your bags for a replacement weapon.
This macro will work with switching out:
-Main-Hand/Off-Hand/One-Hand Weapons
-Two-Handed Weapons
-Shields
-Ranged Weapons
Creation:
All you need to do it throw this macro into your damage rotation! There is a small modifcation required on your part to get this to work. There are three “Slot IDs” you must ultilize depending on what you plan on replacing. Please refer to the list below:
Main-Hand = 16
Off-Hand = 17
Ranged = 18
Template:
#showtooltip <Shot Name>
/cast <Shot Name>(<Rank #>)
/script if (GetInventoryItemBroken(“player”, <Slot ID>) == 1) then EquipItemByName(“<Replacement Weapon Name>“); else EquipItemByName(<Normal Weapon Name>); end
Example:

Also note that this is meant to be a temporary fix. Once you’ve repaired your normal weapon, you must manually switch it back.
