Child’s Play Charity Auction Weekend Recap

MassiveBlips: vote it up!

This weekend has been a fast and furios one over on the Children’s Week Child’s Play Charity Auction.

The generosity so far has been tremendous!!  So much so we’ve already had to adjust our goal from $1,000 to $1,500!!!

Almost every item has a bit on it, and I’ll be the first to admit, I’m FLOORED! That’s right!  I knew you guys all had a great heart, but to see the outpouring of love for the children has been more than touching.

Now it’s true, we have some of our stars out there.   For example we got Caditsra’s Specially Created Print steaming up the auction.   Not to mention Daniel Howell’s BRK shirts, WoW Subscription Cards, Loot Codes all at the top of the pack.

But we seem to have also seen the developments of a Podcast Bidding War going on.  WoW Insider’s Guest Host Spot is in second place overall.  But The Rawrcast Show’s Guest Spot just upped the ante and may be heading to take over that spot.

You see, Total Biscuit aka “The Murloc” from the WoWRadio Show Blue Plz! is now in on the action with Stompalina and Hafrot.  What you ask? That’s right it seems The Murloc has decided he’s going to team up with the Rawrcast Show and be a special guest that you can now interview and get to know!  (link)

Don’t forget that if the Online Guest Host spot is not your thing, but you still want some podcast exposure for your guild, blog, website or even just to anounce your general all around awesomeness, bid on the All Things Azeroth sponsorship.

You want to go shopping?  Well check out the Swagdog T-Shirts, or head over and place your bid in on the shopping spree at Mania Arcania Emporia!

We have a couple of other special items that seem to have fallen under the radar.

The Twisted Nether Blogcast T-shirt seems to have gotten bad placement.  To all you Blog Azeroth bloggers, here’s your chance to show some pride in our communities podcast Twisted Nether!

Also, Dwight Wallbridge Photography is donating a 8×10 print.  So if your looking for that special something for Mom (remember next week is Mother’s Day after all) pick up the print.

And finally, the most ironic piece of all.  The Hooter’s T-Shirt that started it all is really in need of some bids also.

So go out to the auction site support Child’s Play and put your bid in.  There’s plenty of things left.

Donations to Date: $1,018.19

GOAL: $1,500
