Mary Varn of NPC Comic

Well at least Mary Varn of the awesome and funny NPC Comic was planning on coming to visit on our LIVE! UStream broadcast, Sunday, February 21st!   I’m hoping that after my attempt of humor with today’s header image she won’t have second thoughts and reconsiders.  I mean they do say imitation is the highest and most sincere form of flattery. Right?

(Oh! Just a second a squirrel just popped in and made me wonder, have you ever notice how announcing that something is going to be LIVE! just seems better with LIVE type it in all caps with an exclamation point? Okay.. Okay back on topic.)

So yes! Mary Varn the creator of NPC Comic.  An awesome webcomic that as Mary puts it:

[I]s about Lisa and her cats Chloe and Bink. They play World of Warcraft, like, way too much, and deal with the pitfalls of being minorities in a human boy-centric world. Sometimes they go outside and talk to people. – Mary Varn

But that’s not all Mary has done.  She’s an accomplished animator working on shows like:

and Disney Channel’s Little Einsteins to just name a couple!

So to say that I’m a little bit excited that Mary has graciously agreed to sit with both Daewin and myself is probably a bit of an understatement.

Besides! Who doesn’t want to learn how to actually get paid to look at pictures of models in their underwear all day.  (Now don’t sit there and say you wouldn’t love to know how you could get a job like that!)

Of course we’ll talk about all the important stuff also.  Like what’s up with Chloe and Bink being a Druid and a DK! (Okay, so maybe Chloe’s not so bad. Seriously! Have you seen Chloe in a leotard? *cough* um.. yea, forget that part.)

We’ll also make sure and address one specific comic talking about Lisa’s WoW Tips! O
