Auto-Target Macro

I know.. I know.. There are add-ons that already do this. But hey! We’re always looking for unique macros and plus, this has the potential of being included in other macros (e.g. /cast Hunter’s Mark, /PetAttack macro’s)

Anyways, I owe this macro to Gello in Underhill on Hyjal from the official UI/Macro Forums and promise to give proper credit as soon as their back operational. In the mean time, I hope you find this as useful as I am.

/run local Tt,t,c=Tt or {} for i=1,25 do t=string.match(GetTrackingInfo(i) or “”,”Track (.+)”) if t then t=gsub(t,”s$”,”") Tt[t]=i end end c=UnitCreatureType(”target”) if Tt[c or ""] then SetTracking(Tt[c]) print(”Tracking “..c) end

Gave proper credit to Gello for his help!! :)

Macros to Fix Pet Autocast Issue

So I’ve been doing a bit of research and until the pet autocast issue is worked out thought I’d offer this macro to you.

Now I have a cat so I only need to really turn off a couple of things, but you should get the picture. :P

Add the following to your Mount/Dismount or a your call pet macro.

/petautocasttoggle Growl
/petautocasttoggle Prowl

Don’t have one?

Here’s a Mount/Dismount macro from Drotara (NOTE: it’s not explained here since Drotara did such a great job in his article) over on Less QQ More Pew Pew with the /petautocasttoggle lines added.

#showtooltip Swift Red Wind Rider
/run if IsMounted() then Dismount() return end local t if IsFlyableArea() then t={7} else t={1,2,5,6,8} end CallCompanion(”MOUNT”,t[random(#t)])
/dismount [mounted]
/petautocasttoggle Growl
/petautocasttoggle Prowl

For call pet it’s simply:

/cast [nopet] Call Pet; [target=pet, dead] Revive Pet
/petautocasttoggle Growl
/petautocasttoggle Prowl

Hope this works for you.
